    Reconstruction of a portion of SR 114 from 1.07 Miles East of the Montgomery-Pulaski  County Line to 0.64 Miles West of Montgomery-Pulaski County Line.  Project includes replacement of an 1138 foot long bridge over the New River and replacement of the bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad.  The project included approximately 1.5 million pounds of structural steel and 2000 Cubic Yards of Structural Concrete.  The bridge over the New River was constructed on drill shafts foundations.  The New River Bridge is approximately 350’ wide and involved installation and removal of temporary causeways to expedite construction of the new bridge and removal of the existing structure.  The project was constructed over the New River, an environmentally sensitive area requiring cooperation with many regulatory agencies.
